Lagerfeld’s “The Little Black Jacket” Exhibit
The Little Black Jacket Exhibit made it’s debut in Soho, New York straight from Tokyo this past weekend. One Style at a Time joined the Fashion buzz this past Sunday at the Swiss Institute where multiple black and white photographs by Karl Lagerfeld were displayed. Chanel’s Little black jacket has been featured, analyzed and reinvented so many times. On this occasion its being spotlighted in poignant photographs featuring models, singers, designers, actors among many others. Lagerfeld joins former French Vogue editor-in-chief Carine Roitfeld to ignite this project and show the timeless effect the “LBJ” has today. It goes to show that this garment has a staying power that has surpassed the test of time. Below are just a few photographs taken at the event. Rolling deep in Vogue’s March Cover is… Adele
From Grammy’s best dressed we move on to the Grammy Artist of the night, Adele. This has been an amazing and triumphant year for Adele with her second album “21”. She was nominated for six Grammys, and won all SIX! Fashion has also taken notice and she is on the cover of the March issue of US Vogue with a spectacular and elegant pictorial. Photographs were taken by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot. Adele proves she has the beauty to back up that amazing god given talent.

Vogue has published their new August cover girl and guess who it is… The one and only, Sarah Jessica Parker!
SJP has a long time relationship with Vogue Magazine and has graced the cover several times. Each time the photo shoots are better than the one before. From her days in Sex and the City to the present she has worked with the best Editorial Photographers, from Annie Leibovitz to Mario Testino. It goes without saying that the Fashion Styling is top notch for all her photos. The best of the best!
In the August Vogue edition Sarah Jessica poses not only with her husband Matthew Broderick but also with her three children, James, Tabitha and Marion.
It’s always exciting for me to see her on a cover or to read about her new projects. She has a new movie “I Don’t know How She Does It” coming to theatres September 16, 2011.
She is a fashion icon, a savvy businesswoman, actress, and producer. The list goes on and on for SJP as we all have come to know her. She is a ‘friend in my head’ and one of my favorite New Yorkers and Fashionistas for sure!!! Here are some of the many times she has appeared on the cover of Vogue, US
